In late 2012, me and hubby got a chance to visit Amsterdam. It left a strong impression on me with its many canals and adorable red brick houses. I heard about those canal houses before and seen the picture, but I never thought I'd fall in love with it. Seeing Amsterdam first hand really made a difference, huh? Maybe it's a fact that Amsterdam was the first European city I ever set foot or the city itself is indeed beautiful, either way, I heart Amsterdam and the way it inspired me.

Always wanted to start drawing something in monochrome, and since I have this brand new blue acrylic ink, why not?

I enjoyed painting these, and how I got the same reaction from family and friends asking me if these were in fact a sticker on pebbles! I got that question especially on my butterfly and brown plant stones. No, they were painted using an acrylic ink, so you got that same "look" as the stickers :D

Alright, my first attempt in painting bird. A little bit intimidated when doing its wing, but overall satisfied with the result :D

Hey, does the birdie looks like a pregger birdie to you? haha I only realized it after finished painting.

How wonderful it is that through prayer we can be refreshed and strengthened.

I love this day, it's a reminder that I've received the most wonderful gift, a Son of God, that is.

I took these pebbles from a beach in Nice, when we visited Europe in October. Hubby looked at me strangely, unsure if he heard it right when I said I wanted to bring home these pebbles haha. Now I wish I brought back more pebbles, so many things I want to paint on them ^o^ Painted two of them a few days back.

I got myself a new black dress to wear at our friend's wedding this Saturday. Now what left is to shed body fat to fit in that dress. がんばります。

How's your weekend? Mine spent looking for a dress to be worn at my friend's wedding next Saturday. Yet to find one, although somehow a little bracelet managed to sneak in. Well, well, I still have tomorrow to find the perfect dress before the working chaos rules in full force the next whole week.
